My first question/comment is about Gated and Astray. I loved/hated your villain. He was so creepy! How did this series come about?

I've always been fascinated with Egypt. There are so many interesting stories to tell and exploring the mythology was both a challenge and exciting for me. Egypt was one of several ideas I talked about with my publisher and that was the one we agreed on for my next project.

What's your next big project?

Actually, it wasn't. I just liked the look of it. Also I think it had something tigery on it. At least the one I chose did if I recall properly.

Do you get a lot of people asking for more Iron Fey? I've noticed that my tiger fans are very loyal to that one series.

I just started The Immortal Rules series. Love the heroine! Curious about her history. We know a bit about her mom. Did she have any siblings?

I have so many questions! First, I see that there are more planned books in the Talon series. Did your publisher just ask for a certain number or did you already have them planned out when you pitched them? How did that number come to be?
