I think they'd get along just fine. Both girls are touched by magic and have a foundation in the mortal world they were born in. They might meet up for hot chocolate to commiserate. Either that or therapy group. ;)

I lean towards vivid and mapped out. In the case of my new series, I had to weave together bits and pieces of myths that didn't really connect very well and make sense of the whole story. I don't think in reality it would be that complicated. =)

IKR? Magic jewelry is a thing. I think it always will be. Are you a jewelry fan? I have to say I never was until I became a writer and then it kind of exploded. I have so much jewelry and I even shop for it in airports while I wait for planes.

So did you have to read like every epic Greek story known to man to write Helen? Wow! Her past lives are crazy cool. I love exploring them with her. Where did your love for mythology come from?

It should be coming out around the same time. But, the novella, Reignited will be out in Feb so that should hold you until the third book.

Hi Izzy,
It's hard to describe where the inspiration for character development comes from. I use pinterest for cool monsters and physical characteristics but it's almost like they each develop their own voice and become real in my mind. I wish I knew how to tell you to do it but often I imagine the appearance and that lends a voice.

There's a bit of a past lives thing going on in Goddess, do you believe in past lives or that we might have something passed down from our ancestors?

There's a little sci-fi going on with your Worldwalker series. Did you have to research anything sciencey?

I don't allow myself to stop reading. Since it's a part of my job, I keep at it, even if I fall in love with a book.

I do have an idea for a Deaf main character. We'll see if I get around to writing it. In the meantime you might want to try Soundless by Richelle Mead.
