Chapter 3

Weevil is a free man!!! Celebraion commences in the Mars Investigaions office. Weevil has been cleared of all charges.

Chapter 2

My fav line from this group of chapters for sure!

Chapter 2

Lamb is running unonctested in the election.

Exactly what I was thinking! Sacks really seemed to respect Veronica. Maybe becuase he knows her moral compass is stronger than any of his coworkers. And he also has a strong moral compass.

Chapter 2

Keith has a flashback to Lily Kane.
"Maybe Keith should have stopped her, that night 11 years ago when he'd realized that she was looking through the Lily Kane files. But for some reason he still didn't fully inderstand, he couldn't bring himself to shut her out."

Come on Keith, your gut knows Veronica is meant to be a PI.

A great point. At the end of TTDTL it did seem like they would be on every case together. But I guess sometimes they know they will have to splut up their efforts? And in this case Keith had Weevil's case and the Sheriff's corruption to work on.

The offical story about Sack's is that he had been ont he take and his relationship with one of his underworld contacts had gone south.

Taking another moment to be sad that we've lost Deputy Sacks! I find mself wondering so much more about him now than before. What was his personal life like? Did he have a girlfriend? A dog? Did he ever just feel the urge to jump in and help Veronica to serve justice?

BUT Keith had been so proud of her when she took her P.I. exam!!!

Keith is still struggling with Veronica's deicision to stay in Neptune, turning down a job in a New York law firm.

I was a little dissapointed he hadn't accepted it yet. But I guess when she was presented with such a dangerous case right off the bat in TTDTL he has reason to worry....

My guess was all car related too! I am a Sons of Anarchy fan and I could never really picture Weevil doing all the really hardcore stuff that some motorcycle clubs get involved in. Not our Weevil!

I never felt like it was her end game of course, but I could see why she was drawn to the profession. Justice is such a part of Veronica's DNA. Being a lawyer kind of helped her still be in that world even if she wasn't "fixing" it as a PI.

All the work Keith did to prove corruption in the Neptune Sheriff's office was thrown out of Weevil's case. They considered it "IRRELEVANT".

Anyone else curious as to what exactly it is that he is doing that is illegal? What's your guess?

I wished that Mac had stuck around with Kane too! Long enough to at least dig up some more dirt. There must be some shady things happening there.

Cliff refers to himself as the "KMart of the legal system". I literally laughed out loud at this!

Weeil's trial is coming to a close. And Veronica is sweating it out with lots and lots of caffinene! I'm not used to seeing our girl sweat that much! You can tell she deinitely doens't like not having control over the situation.

Did anyone think that for a second she mightve thought that she should've stayed a lawyer a little longer and represented Weevil? Or do you think she had complete faith in Cliff?
