Pick Me Challenge!!!1. Create a new shelf or update your existing shelf on your bookshelf that includes approximately 20 books that you would like to have someone use to pick a book for you to read. Books will only be selected from the shelf you choose.
2. By the end of the month, post in this thread that you want to participate and provide a link to your Pick Me shelf. (If you've participated before, I already have your link and you don't have to re-post it.)
3. On the first day of the month I’ll use the randomizer to pair up everyone.
4. Friend your partner who is picking for you or set your profile to public or your partner will not be able to access your shelf.
5. You have until the 3rd of the month to post your selection for your partner in this thread.
6. Come back after finishing the book selected for you by your partner (even if it's after the month has ended) and let everybody know what you think about it.
Sign up period will remain open until the end of this month.

I've missed so much. No notifications and no time to check in. My son in law was out of town for work this week and I stayed at my daughter's house to get help with the baby and get him to daycare in the mornings since she's also back at work with school starting.All of us so busy at work. But the little munchkin wanted to sleep with me every night. He is so sweet and happy in the mornings and bath time was always full of laughs.
It was a hard week but rewarding.
LE wow on the double trip to Philly and 3 kids in college. Supermom.
Amy I'm glad the girls had a good first day at school. I hope it'll be a great year for both of them.
Judy school starts way too early in the US especially in the South. Like Stacy mentioned, we were still in 110 degree temps and kids were already out practicing sports. Is it any wonder we have child deaths on the playing fields?
I'm heading back home today. Lots to do there, least of wich is making it up with my kitties who are probably very unhappy with the little time I gave them this week.

Thankfully the humidity has been staying in the 40's. Goodness, I would not want to be in any beach areas right now. South Florida has to be miserable.
Our temps have been ranging between 106 and 108 plus the heat index for the longest time. My car thermostat usually reads 109 on my way home from work between 6-7pm. I don't think I'd survive without A/C.
Kari what a mess, the whole family down with covid. And little Bennett :-( glad to hear he's feeling better.LE cooler weather and a pool is a little relief. Fingers crossed power comes back soon.

You'd think I live in my phone. There's nothing I don't use it for. I always buy the latest model which is super expensive, but I hold on to it for years. I don't updrade until the one I have no longer works. Unfortunately, this one met an early demise at my grandson's hands. You can't take your eyes off a toddler for a second! lol
Oh no LE. That's so scary to he without power during a storm.
