I haven't read any currently on your PMC shelf, but I'd pick this one next for myself. In fact, I just added it to my tbr. Let me know how you like it.

I looked at some of her other books. Especially that one. But it's not for me. I can't do sad stories. I can't seem to shake them off afterwards.

I also read some of the negative reviews of this one. I understand how this could be personal for someone closely related to Afghanistan and the war. But I'm personally not involved with it in any way and did not find anything objectionable in the story. While it was emotional at a few points, it was directly with the love story.

I want to add that the narration elevated it for me. Great production.

Funny enough I "accidentally" read/listened to this one. No idea how it got on my tbr. But it's a KU with free Audible and as I clicked through what to listen to next I landed on this one and stuck.

I seldom read contemporary romance nowadays and I'm not at all familiar with this author.

This was me during and after listening to this love story 😳😍❤️

It's almost October and this is the best story I've read all year. I'm having a hard time getting into my next read because I keep thinking about this one.

I don't think I read the prequel. I'm still reading this one, but since it's an ongoing story across the books, I agree it could have been condensed into one, longer book.
