All man... but that was sweet of her.

That's what I said!! I told him he had to step up his game with her. And when he meets her parents, too.

I think so! Fingers crossed for this one.

6 royal gala apples, peeled and cubed small
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
In a crock pot, mix all ..."
Oh, I love a crockpot meal. I can just smell that right now! Amazing!!

They have been hanging out together for a few weeks maybe.

It is delish and really easy. Keep in mind I do not actually measure. Unless it's in a package I just estimate.
Ingredients:
Soup pot with lid
2-3 table spoon of olive oil or other oil. enough to cover the bottom of your soup pot
1/2 med onion diced
1/2 green bell pepper diced
1 celery stalk chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic minced
1 lb. ground beef, turkey, pork, or chicken, or shredded chicken, or no meat at all
2 bags of Frozen vegetables for soup (or just mixed vegetables)
2-3 med potatoes peeled and diced
1 can of whole kernel corn or 1 cup frozen corn
1 can of green beans or 1 cup frozen green beans
small can of diced green chilies- optional
28 oz. (or so) chicken stock You can also use water or add water if you don't have enough stock.
*To save time and effort, you can use frozen onions, pepper, celery- Pick Sweet has a bag called Seasoning Mix.- Use about half the bag. Also the jars of minced garlic are the best thing since sliced bread.
Seasoning:
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, dry ranch dressing mix- 2 envelopes or 6 tablespoons
Directions:
1. On medium high heat, add the oil to your pot, heat to med heat add the onion, pepper, celery. Begin to sauté until just getting soft.
2. Add the meat if using it. Season it with salt, pepper garlic powder, onion powder. Drain the fat. Especially if using beef.
3. Return the meat mixed with the onions and stuff to the pot. (A easy way to drain fat is by tilting the pot to the side and using a paper towel to soak up the oil. Or use a colander of course.) Add the garlic and mix well with the meat. Let it get heated up. Nice and fragrant. 1 or 2 minutes.
4. Add all the vegetables mix it up.
5. Add the dry ranch seasoning. mix it up
6. Add the chicken stock. If it's not enough liquid, just add water. Mix it up nicely. Adjust the seasoning to taste and heat to boil. turn down the heat to a low boil/simmer. Let it cook until the potatoes are done.
Enjoy with cornbread, biscuits, or any crusty bread. My family also likes it with shredded cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips. I add salsa sometimes too, but that's me!
Please feel free to ask for clarification on anything. I hope y'all like it.

By the way, Stacie makes the BEST meals!!"
Thank you, Amy! I usually don't have any idea what I'm going to cook day to day.

Roasted veggies and a protein sounds like a great meal.

I was just thinking about you while J was flipping back and forth between these games. I was like NY is having a rough night.

Oh my goodness, Jill. I am opposite. I love food. It's kinda ridiculous. But I thought you were meatless.

This sounds like how my mom ised to meal plan. I confess I am the worst at planning at all and especially around the sales. She always fusses at me about it even now.
