It's my favorite too. And we don't get to go too often. Yeah, we had fun! Wish they had won. But I have to say, I am so glad neither of my boys were playing. They would have been so upset. Just making it there would not have been good enough. Nice to just be a fan.

I think I am going to make cookie dough today, too and leave it in the fridge until Tuesday.

I can't imagine my sister dating my ex or me dating my sister's ex in almost any circumstance. My mom would not be okay with it either. Irl of course... it happen somewhat often in books. I winder if it happens a lot in real life.

Same! I'm reading a book set in Colorado right now but I didn’t know it would be set there until after I started. But I will find another one, I'm sure.

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday. It is still Friday for me. Our HS team made it to the State Championship so we went to Arlington to watch! They play all the State games in At&T Stadium. It's over 2 hrs away and guess what!? They lost big time. I'm so sad... But Jerrick and I did go to Papadeaux to eat after the game. It's one of my favorite places and not close to us. So that was a big treat. We just got home.

I still have some wrapping to do. And the boys main gifts seem to be lost in the mail. It keeps going from Shreveport to every small town around us except ours and back to Shreveport. I called the USPS and the automated person just told me where it is and said to wait a couple of days to see if it comes. 🤬

I think I am going to make cookie dough for Tuesday and chicken stock for my gumbo. Otherwise I don't know how much more prep I can do.

Even though I know it's fine and I have time, I feel like I'm behind because we went out of town today. It was nice spending the time with J though.

I wish it was just the 4 of us on Christmas sometimes. That's awesome thay Alana will be taking her first dual credit class in the spring. Saves a lot of time and money! Well in TX the dual credit cost cap is $55 per hr. And if you get free lunch, the classes are free. It opens up college to so many that would struggle with cost. Lots of kids are starting to graduate HS with an associates degree ar trade certificate. One good piece of TX legislation...

I'm making Gumbo and s few dips on Christmas Eve. We are hosting. It's when my side of the family gets together. On Christmas we go to J's parents. I'm bringing dressing which I already have frozen! We all bring something for a traditional meal.
