Yes, exactly. I listened to a part of an interview KR recently did where she basically said our romantic partners are not meant to be our only great loves.

Yay, Di! I'm so happy you ended up enjoying it. KR really is a good writer. I think she may write the friendship/ family/ social things even better than the actual romance. With this one and This Could Be Us, I really felt those things were more compelling than the romance in the book. But with Before I let Go, the romance was more upfront. But really, the mental health and fertility issues were pretty prominent in that one too. Either way, she is a great writer.

I know what you mean. I read a lot more probably, but it is still a puzzle trying to fit all the books I want to read in.

125752 We had some storms come through last night. The sirens went off and kinda scared me but I was so sleepy, I just looked at my phone to see if there was a tornado warning. It was a thunderstorm warning and I got so irritated that the sirens went off for a thunderstorm. But that was the sleep talking because of course those can be dangerous too. Deuce came in our room a few minutes later and asked if we heard the sirens? Poor kiddo is still a little scared of storms. I felt bad for just going back to sleep. But all was well. I didn't even see many tree limbs down this morning.

Unfortunately we don't have ac in our building at work though. It's 78 in my office and 73% humidity. Thank goodness I have a fan.

Beautiful picture, Judy! My wedding party was in all black (except me). And the flowers were all red roses. I didn't request the guest to wear black though. That wasn't the done thing back then, but I still think it was beautiful and so classic. My mom thought I'd lost my mind and we had a bit of a row about it, but she loved it when it all came together.

125752 @Fabi- I had some friends give good feedback on the BDB Passionflix series so far. One said the wigs are weird, but otherwise it's good.

It is long. And it's a book that spoon feeds you information, but I really did find it to be a very pleasant read.

125752 I finished! It was slow, but I really liked it. Nina was the best and Henri too. I guessed all the things but I still enjoyed it. It was a pleasant read.

It does have an app. I subscribed through Prime at the time. Have you seen any of the previews for The Black Dagger Brotherhood? Or any Passionflix movies?

I hate to be a negative Nancy, but I don't think it will be good. I do not like the cast. or how Wrath looks or any of the other Brothers to be honest. If I were you, I would try to get a free trial membership to check out the series. I know there used to be one for 7 days or something like that.
