I did like the author’s writing style though. It was totally different, but reminded me of Divine Rivals.

It's been a busy week for me. Our purchasing department is closing out the fiscal year so everyone wants to spend their budget dust. So lots of orders for me to get in. Tomorrow is the last day and it's my Friday!

The time jumps didn't bother me but I do think this was a really somber/sad/depressing story. But! I was intrigued. I'm not sure if I was satisfied with the ending or not. I did like the climax/resolution though. 3+ stars for me.
