I nod "Me and one of the kids awhile ago-" my voice broke. Dammit-

"mhm!" I jump in, landing on solid wood planks, walking to the back end, where grab and turn on a flashlight, revealing a small little hideout, with bean bags, lanterns, and blankets. I smiled at her, "come on in"

I chuckle, gesturing to a large hole in the trunk. "In there"

I laughed at her clumsiness "FOllow me" I jumped onto the next highest branch

I smile, offering her my hand "Need help?"

I stopped next to a big tree "It doesn't really matter." I jump and grab a low branch, pulling myself up onto it. "Theres a hollow up here. Its like a little hideout"

I dont respnd

I nod sadly as we slow, making our way through some trees.

I chuckled back at her "A spot i built for one of the kids awhile ago-" my voice cut off as we got to the edge of the neighborhood, and the start of a loose forest

I nod, snatching her hand again, pulling her down the sidewalk again, laughing like a fucking maniac.

I patted her back "I've got a place we can go right now. Does that sound ok?"

I rounded a few corners, passing by my mess of a house. Slowing down to a walk, I turn around to make sure we weren't being followed. Luckilly, no one menacing was behind us. I let out a sigh of relief. "You ok Cy?"

"Ok ok ok, come with me" I snatched her hand, jogging down the street, dragging her behind me

I stood up quickly, "Whats wrong?"

I heard the door opened and turned my head back towards the house.
