I smiled at her, recognition tickling the back of my brain. "I do think we've met before. Middle school, right?" I scrunched my face, thinking. "I can't quite remember your name-" I sighed internally, facepalming myself due to my idiocy. "But who cares? Why not reintroduce ourselves? Hello, I'm Ashe!" I sounded cheerful, probably too cheerful, holding my hand out for a handshake, like some corporate worker.

Waking up, I zoomed out of bed, my hair a puffy mess, poofing around my face as I stumbled around my dorm. I clattered around the kitchen, grabbing a mug of coffee, gulping it down before rushing back to my room to get changed. Stumbling around my room in a frenzy, I grabbed my favorite outfit, a pink top with spaghetti straps, light blue jean shorts, long pink socks, and a yellow jacket. I snatch up my bag, wander out the door, yelling "Goodbye!" to my brother and our other roommates.
Slowing my pace as I walk out the door, gaining my composure as I step down the lane, watching the warm sun light the morning dew on the muted autumn leaves. I walked down the sidewalk, on my way to get a more substantial breakfast than just a half empty cup of coffee.
