hello everyone! I finished the first chapter of my fanfic today!


“Ocean! Wake up!” That was Moonspeaker, the Nightwing of Sapphire winglet. “Ugh, what? It’s like 3 AM and I'm trying to get some sleep here," I said. “A mountain is exploding!” he said. With that, I shot up and ran to the window to see what he meant. Sure enough, in the distance, a mountain was spewing lava and ash. “Oh, that is not good,” I said, and ran out of our cave towards Moonwatcher’s office. After Moonwatcher returned some of my memories, we’ve shared a special link, and we’ve been able to communicate with it. Most dragons think she is a bit mystic and above this world, because she rarely speaks, preferring to use telepathy, but anyone who speaks with her a lot, even via telepathy, knows that she is a nice, fun, happy dragon, who is really very down to earth. She is an honorary aunt in my family, since she’s been close to my family for years. As I ran, I shouted along the link to Moon. VOLCANO! I could tell that I had startled Moon awake. What? Moon said through the link. Volcano near Jade Mountain! Tell you more when I get there. As I ran, dragonets peeked out of their caves to see what was going on. I ran past, paying them no heed. I skidded to a stop outside Moon’s door. The door was only halfway open when I ran inside. I shut the door. “There’s a volcano outside Jade Mountain. Moonspeaker saw it, and woke me up,” I said. “That is not good. That is very not good.” Moon started pacing back and forth. “We need to seal Jade Mountain. Immediately.” she said. “Yeah, and get everyone to the siege bunker, or at least away from the windowed caves.” “Let's go,” she said.
