I did it during the M&G (told them there was a Reading Challenge based on their sketch/them), so it had to be a little bit quick - Foil gave the answer straight away, Arms had to think about it and Hog started laughing and gave immediately his answer... The more I think about it, the more I am sure he was trolling XD

I liked it - I have read something else from Ishiguro, I find it... delicate? Can't find a better word for his writing

A pity - I mostly read books in Italian and I often wonder if something is lost in translation. I know something can be. For instance, I really like an Italian writer, Stefano Benni, but his writing would be very difficult to translate. I know they translate some of his books in France, but he uses so many wordplays, new invented words (that make sense, I think this thing has a name in linguistic but cannot remember)... even some of the names are wordplays.

1229937 can't remember the name of that weird book but I shared the information so there's a post with those books

1229937 I asked them for a book recommendation last time I was in Dublin, for the challenge... now, Arms' book was Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro (I read it last year), Foil's was indeed the Bee Sting (the one also from Patreon)... Hog's book was weird and I am sure he was trolling a bit - hold on

I have no idea but I will try to find something like a fantasy with a funny note - also, it will probably one of the last prompt I'll do

Oh, one of my friend is a New Yorker who now lives in Ireland (Dublin) ^_^

1229937 Lovely idea

1) I live in Italy, I'm in Puglia (the heel of the Italian boot)

2) first sketch I have seen was "WTF is Brexit?" because a friend send it to me ("Since you love Ireland, they're Irish) - didn't follow them then, but in November 2019 when I watched "Paper bag hats"
3) Favourite genres: fantasy (I am becoming less interested in sagas) and historical - recently I found myself into mythological re-telling
