Thank you Nathalie - yes, I know the Generator, a good friend of mine usually use it. She doesn't mind sharing bathroom etc, though (I do, I mean, ok with friends but not with strangers)

1229937 going backwards from the newest FAH video for inspiration
Read a book written by a Chinese writer Immigration test)and you can do the same with New Zealand, Austria. Sweden, Wales, Poland, Northern Ireland... I actually find this part of the challenge very interesting because it lead me to read books from different authors
Read a sci-fi book (Star Wars Immigration)
Read a book set in Ancient Rome time (Roman Immigration Test)
Read a book where there are three generations or more (The Generation Wars)
Read a book set in India (White Guy in India)
Read a fantasy (Tryin a Role Playing Fantasy Game)... if there's a book about D&D that would be perfect
Read a book set in space (Gettin past lunar immigration)
Read a book about someone being addicted to something (Addictive Things Throw a Party)

1229937 Those are good ideas and, oh yes, definitely keep the one written by a comedian - I think I have 3 books and an audiobook from comedians I would like to read/listen to

1229937 Glad you had a great time- can I ask the name of the hotel?

1229937 Mmm, for me, the most difficult ones were some of those linked to the plot (sometimes it was easier, other times I was just lucky to find something).
I think books recommended by a certain character is an excellent idea actually, as you can be creative as well.
As for the final list... mmm, I don't have any preference. Some challenges give the list on the last day of the year, others even a month before but that for me doesn't matter

1229937 Hello everyone - I should re-watch some videos to be able to give new prompts (if this is what we are doing). I have a question as well: should we try to have some of this year's prompts? Those that gave us a little bit more "free choice" were necessary (at least for me, I am also in a couple of book clubs and a couple of readers' tournaments and I tried to use the same book for everything, if I could)

1229937 I think they will be at the Fringe next year but only for a week, like they did last year.

1229937 thanks Nat, I know there's also the International Book Festival - luckily I won't be there (it starts a few days after I leave Scotland) - and I say luckily because I KNOW I will buy books and bring in a festival... err

1229937 Hey Melissa, I haven't bought any tickets - simply because I am going to Edinburgh for the Fringe this summer and that is expensive. I am going to see the new show there (bought tickets for three nights) and then I think I'll wait at least one year to see FAH again - unless they decide to come to Italy

1229937 I think I am going to re-read it as well, for Canadian author... the first time, my guts were like on knots *sigh* somehow, I think this time it will be even worse

1229937 love that you found a book with the title "staycation"

1229937 I am also using audio books (and books and ebooks, occasionally), I find it great to listen to a story while I am... I don't know, ironing my clothes XD it also makes the chores bearable (if I do something else, something that needs my mind to concentrate, I can't).
