Yeah, that's not a great book to finish when needing to sleep, hahahahaha

Oh snap! That's right!!!! That was such a good book! I was so mad when Nehemiah was murdered!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that was the book where Chaol finds out the truth, that feels like it happened later in the series in my mind, hahaha. Thank you for the re-cap!
Okay, I read this a while ago and don't want to give away spoilers for upcoming books. Can someone remind me where this one ends?
I read this book a while ago, but I really liked the book! Does anyone have any thoughts about Darrow's sacrifice to leave everything? Do you think it was a true sacrifice since he was trying to die?
Rebecca wrote: "My fave character was the octopus! This was such a cute book"I agree, the octopus was the absolute best!!!! I loved this book start to finish!
Nicole wrote: "I loved this book! Like seriously loved it! I think it’s probably my favorite of 2024 so far. I’ll definitely be putting it on the reread list ☺️"I read it a couple of years ago and I still recommend it to people looking for good books. It was one of my absolute favorites!
I absolutely loved this book! I thought it was so well done and might just have to read it again since I loved it so much!
I liked this one, which actually surprised me! I am so glad that it worked out for the main characters and that Peter and Petra got what they deserved!
Oh snap! Okay, I sort of figured it out before the big reveal, but by like three paragraphs before the hints started to drop, so in my opinion, that was awesome! I just did not see all of that happening until it was right up on me!
I don't have many thought other than meh. It wasn't terrible, I just don't know that I feel it added anything for me.
Rebecca wrote: "So I’m almost half way and I feel I’m getting lost with the story like there’s too much going on. But the writing is fantastic!"I felt that way for a while and then somehow it all came together for me. I hope that happens for you as well!
Grace wrote: "I just finished reading acowar a few days ago… and girl let me tell you. That was an emotional roller in that last 100 pages (like every sjm book) but omg… when Rhysand DIED! I wash shook! But then..."Girl, I was shooketh when Rhys died. I literally stated out loud, "Oh hell no, this bitch better make it right!" and then two pages later, she did, but it was an intense two page journey, hahaha.
I also feel like more time should have been invested into the dad, but I appreciated that he had a redemption story!
I absolutely loved this book back when I read it, but I haven't ever read the rest of the series. Would you all recommend it?

I am going to start this sometime this week and I am so excited to see where it goes after the last book!
Sarah wrote: "This was a great book, it was my top book from January this year!"I also really liked it!!! I just recommended it to a friend of mine and I hope they enjoy it as much as I did!!!!
I knew there was going to be some big twist, but I wasn't ready for how big of a twist it was! I thought it was really good in the end! I like how you get super invested and convinced that the husband is terrible and all that before you find out that for real, none of it is true.
Oh snap! I liked this one better than the first one and was so excited to see Rhys and Freyre's love for each other grow. However, THAT ENDING! I have to read the third one now!
Late to the chat, but I really liked this book! I would totally be down for a discussion on book 2 since I just finished that one!
Nicole wrote: "Bailey wrote: "I ended up loving this book. Although it was, in my opinion, a mixture of The Red Queen and The Hunger Games, I still loved it! The ending was amazing!!!! I cannot wait for the next ..."I agree! I think that Kit is going to end up being vengeful for his father's death and will continue his style of rule, unfortunately.
