He chuckled softly, putting the rest away and hoisting a bag of the food Spots had chosen over his shoulder.

"Alright,"He grabbed a variety of types, putting them out for the cat to choose.
"Alright then, food or cat bed first?"
He scratched the cat behind the ears again, smiling softly.
"Maybe things would've worked out some other time... before... everything..."He pulled his hair back into a bun to prepare for gym, red highlights a stark contrast from otherwise jet locks.
