I'd like to help put a smile on your face today :)

Yes Denise, those position numbers do change as you are moving your books from your WTR shelf to your Read shelf here on Goodreads. That's okay though. If you are a person that makes your list ahead of time, just simply work with that list and move ahead book by book. Now - if you come to a book you just can't read or finish, there are a couple of ways to work around that: (1) you could delete the book from your WTR in which case a new book will appear in that position number, (2) combine the numbers you are working with to get to a different position number, (3) work with a different list...such as one you have on Amazon or another website, or a hard copy list (paper list) you keep, or a list you have on your computer, etc.
The goal of the challenge is to work with the books you have on a WTR shelf (or list).
Hope that helps :)

Got it, Rosa.

It's not the series number you are looking at, Tari....it's the position numbers on your WTR lists...whether they be lists you have here on Goodreads, Amazon, or just a personal list you keep somewhere. So in this instance you are going to be working with the position #10 somewhere - on one of those lists.
Another thing to keep in mind as you are working this challenge... as books are read and removed from your WTR to your Read shelf, the books in those positions numbers are going to change. So the book that is currently in position #10 right now on your WTR is going to move when you read a book above position #10 and it moves from your WTR shelf to your Read shelf. Now, I can't speak for those lists kept on Amazon or anywhere else...those positions may or may not change depending on their system. Just know that the position number of your books on your WTR shelf is constantly changing as you are moving books from one shelf (WTR) to the other (Read) here on Goodreads.
Again - and it's easy to get this confused - I do it all the time....remember we are working this as a WTR (want to read) challenge, not a series challenge.
Does that help?
