If you are talking about the option of finding the author's first and last initials in the item, Judy, then your word would need to have two R letters...therefore Sweater would not work, as it only has one R letter. However, Evergreen would work for the Author option with the author Ruth Rendell, as would Gingerbread and Reindeer.

I think what I will do on the next round is drop the item list from 20 items to 15 items.
