TASKS:
To complete the task section, read a book for each of the landmarks listed below.
1. Sydney Opera House:
Construction began on this beautiful performing arts center on March 1, 1959; it was completed in 1973. Cost to build? A$102 million.

2. Kakadu National Park:
Kakadu National Park is located in the Northern Territory of Australia and is a World Heritage Site. It covers an area of 7,646 from north to south, and over 62 miles from east to west.

❂Read a book in which the total page count contains one of the following numbers: 7, 6, 4 or 2.
3. Melbourne Cricket Ground:
The Melbourne Cricket Ground (aka "The G"), is a sports stadium located in Yarra Park, Melbourne, Victoria. Built in 1853, it was home to the 1956 Summer Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games, and two Cricket World Cups - 1992 and 2015.

4. Kangaroo Island:
Kangaroo Island (aka Karta Pintingga) is Australia's third-largest island. The island's primary economy is agricultural, with southern rock lobster fishery and tourism following closely behind.

❂Read a book with an animal or fish shown on the cover (extra points if it's a kangaroo).
5. Heart Reef:
This heart-shaped reef located in Queensland has become a world-famous landmark, boasting some of the best underwater viewing of the Great Barrier Reef.
