Yes, and some can get quite creative.
Left a review today for No Indignity So Abhorrent, such a simple one.Took maybe 20 minutes to get approved!
I am amazed I have any hair left... hehehe
Finished my pick - The Sister She Always WantedIt is always so interesting when changing one fundamental aspect of canon, shakes up the story so much, especially in regards to Darcy and his pride.

This was a good one. I think it was the first book of hers I truly enjoyed! I pray Vol. 2 is just as good.
Jeanne there is nothing uniform about your reviews. One thought I have had recently is maybe they do want them to be simpler. To not tax those customers who might find it difficult to understand more creative reviews.
Sophia, thanks so much for the tips. I will not add the disclaimer anymore either.

That was great - I am sorry to hear you have now joined our club.
Yes, form letters are what I have been getting. I now get no reply from Amazon review appeals, so I had to declare on Booksprout my inability to complete the review commitment and received my first warning from them!
In the grand scheme of life, I remind myself it isn't worth getting so upset over, but it is disappointing and frustrating!!
Who knows?!? Something has definitely changed over the last year tho. Shame authors are so reliant in Amazon. I wish there was a way to start up a competitive alternative.
