I love when I see those! My friends' names and mine, it is very exciting. I am such a nerd I save screenshots of my quotes ;)

Yes, and some can get quite creative.

1200017 Oh yes, that is a great idea!

Now just to find a human at Amazon to send it to...

1200017 Left a review today for No Indignity So Abhorrent, such a simple one.
Took maybe 20 minutes to get approved!

I am amazed I have any hair left... hehehe

1200017 Finished my pick - The Sister She Always Wanted

It is always so interesting when changing one fundamental aspect of canon, shakes up the story so much, especially in regards to Darcy and his pride.

1200017 This was a good one. I think it was the first book of hers I truly enjoyed! I pray Vol. 2 is just as good.

1200017 Jeanne there is nothing uniform about your reviews.

One thought I have had recently is maybe they do want them to be simpler. To not tax those customers who might find it difficult to understand more creative reviews.

Sophia, thanks so much for the tips. I will not add the disclaimer anymore either.

And interesting to not post on GR until posted on Amazon. It would not have occured to me that clash might exist.

Katja, from my recent experience, all emails from Amazon are form and automated. A review gets flagged for any reason, the email goes out that covers all their bases.
Even trying to contact review-appeals does not get 'human' responses. I have emailed them all kinds of emails to see if I could trigger a human reply, but nada!

I found these two articles and it makes me wonder if this is the reason we have recently experienced our difficulties. Amazon put into place stricter bots to counter this bad press.

That's over. The last few have been in limbo for more than a week. And now this."

That was great - I am sorry to hear you have now joined our club.

1200017 Yes, form letters are what I have been getting.

I now get no reply from Amazon review appeals, so I had to declare on Booksprout my inability to complete the review commitment and received my first warning from them!

In the grand scheme of life, I remind myself it isn't worth getting so upset over, but it is disappointing and frustrating!!

1200017 Jeanne, were you ever able to speak with a human over the phone or was it all just via email?
Sep 03, 2023 01:40PM

1200017 Who knows?!?
Something has definitely changed over the last year tho. Shame authors are so reliant in Amazon. I wish there was a way to start up a competitive alternative.
