I am sorry you didnt care for it :( The narration was the most difficult part really. And i would have liked to know a bit more of the harvest guild to know and understand why the Run happened every year

I liked it. The narration through me off at first. You cant really tell who is narrating the story. Maybe the town itself. I did like it though. Different

I counted it for my Fairy Tale Retellings Challenge

I enjoyed it actually. It was hard to get into at first though. But I loved the darkness, and fairy tale retellings. I think it was a great epic fantasy, coming of age type story and the end teared me up. I especially enjoyed the end where David said "I came back." And the Woodsman replied "most people do." Gave me goosebumps :)

Almost finished :) Didn't think I would get this book finished this month!
