I have been curious how people have read so many books as well. I get a lot of reading done because I ride and a commuter van and I also occasionally listen to audiobooks. But the people who read like 600 books I'm curious about lol I have a book blog, but I also blog about books that I read for my own enjoyment and if someone wants me to read and review there's I will but I always do books I want first. I was happy just to make it to a hundred this year, well a little over. Next year my goal is higher but I won't be working for majority of the year so I am going to take that time to read, explore Scotland, writing my book, and just living :-)

PS...this chat is totally for all the non book related chatting :) (any chatting really...LOL) Just wanted to put something up so people didn't feel restricted where to post

I am ready for it to be over, but I think just because the houses are going to be packed through New Years...and I am already stressed out about it LOL

I've had my eye on Christina...i haven't read the other books yet...but I have my eye on her to do something...

I don't know if I did or didn't...I mean, Al was really hurt because Tris rejects him...and he is doing poorly because he is too nice, so part of me thinks, If that were me...would I have done it? This initiation process reminds me of reality tv! Ha! How everyone tends to form groups of friends, but once the cuts start, you have to remember you all are competing against each other and sooner or later those groups break up

Any theme? Is it by title in the ABC or Author or both? Sounds good!

Ah yes, I am almost to that part...people do some horrible things out of hurt

When it rains it pours! lol...I feel much better today...I actually came into work. sickness likes to kick me when I am down...

Anyways! i am about halfway through now. I like the book much better as a book, though, I keep reading it in the narrator's voice...which irks me! LOL. the book was on sale on kindle for 4$ lol, the next two books are only 7$...not bad.

I like how Tris' mom says to stay in the middle during stage two...and she doesn't...lol.

no worries. I didn't get to read at all. I either have the flu or salmonella poisoning. either way it sucks :( I might go into the er later to get hooked up to iv. I'm so dehydrated and having a hard time keeping anything down

So I started it this morning while riding the commuter van to work. I am right about the same spot as you were on this post. I think I enjoy the book better than the audiobook...I like audiobooks, but I found the narrator for this particular book to be blah. Kinda boring. And She really doesn't do the book any justice.

That being said, Beatrice still kind of gets on my nerves. I have a hard time with characters who are constantly at odds with themselves. Though, I am enjoying it more now that I can read it for myself and visualize the situation a lot better. I can also understand why she is at odds with herself. Struggling trying to decide where she fits in, when she doesnt fully fit in anywhere. I would hate to have to make decisions like that. Glad we don't have to!

Well, I've already read it...so personally, for me it is okay with one thread :) I just wanted to ask if you had a preference, some buddies sometimes do. So whatever pace you want is fine, I am good with that :) But if you want me to do multiple threads i can do that as well
