Hey! Sorry everyone, this month has been crazy for me. I just realized I completely forgot about this BOTM. Have some of you guys already started on it? If so I may be able to catch up. If no ones started then maybe should we just push it to next month?

Excited to start this!
Wit wrote: "I would be very content with reading Vanity Fair this month, it’s been on The List for a while now and I finally get an excuse to check it off!"Ok wonderful! We'll go with that then!

honestly this time around I think it was Meg. Idk why bit Jo just seemed so immature this time around. And meg is just so cute in her married life with John😊

Hey! So are we still planning on reading Vanity Fair this month?

Hey guys! How was you read of Little women? Are you ready to move on the the next book?
Elijah wrote: "However, I'm currently listening to the audiobook version. I think I missed a lot of the minor details and depictions during my first read."nice! I've also been listening to the audiobook. I love audiobooks, it's much easer for me listening then actually reading.
Elijah wrote: "I've finished it."wonderful! what did you think?
I'm at the part where Amy is in Europe with Laurie, so I'm close(kinda) to being done.

Hey guys! How are you all coming along with Little women?
Wit wrote: "Elijah wrote: "The various moral themes expressed throughout the novel are superb. However, I'm somewhat dissatisfied with the plot. While I like Beth a lot, the author could've introduced her more..."Wow thats a wonderful point that I've never really thought about before! And she isn't as developed at a character be honestly I'm not really mad about it.
Imagine if it was Amy who died or something, I feel like it wouldn't feel as emotionally sad because she has flaws and it's almost like because we don't know about Beths flaws she seems to not deserve death but still gets it.

I'll probably slow down a little now, I actually hadn't started until like 3 days ago bc I was finishing up North and South.
But it is really interesting reading it this time around because I'm noticing things about all the sisters that I never noticed before. I always thought that Jo and I were so similar, but now... I'm not as sure.

Hey! how is everyone coming along with Little Women? I'm on chapter 22 right now. and I've seriously forgotten how wonderful this book, and story is! Haha I have a feeling that I'll go into another Laurie fangirl phase after finishing this again.

How many times have you read it?
I really love Jo, I feel like often she is the favorite amongst fans. I really like her because Amy is just too annoying, Megs a tad bossy. Beth is so sweet but he story is so sad, but Jo is the most interesting and exciting.
Wit wrote: "I’ve read Undine, it’s basically a Romeo and Juliet style story except Juliet is a Sea spirit and, after they are married, is exiled. In order to stop Huldbrand (Romeo) from marrying another woman,..."Interesting! did you enjoy it? it sounds dramatic😂

Yay! I'm so excited to reread this!

Wonderful! little women it is then.

Would it be ok if we read Little Women this month and Vanity Fair next month?
Mary-Therese wrote: "How about Little Women? I would love to reread that!"Oh yes! absolutely! It's been two years I think since I've read it. if everyone else is ok with that idea then lets do that!

Hey so the month is coming to an end and we need a book for next month! I'm thinking something maybe just a ✨bit✨ shorter.
Maybe something like
Vanity Fair
Far from the Maddling crowd
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (which is is another knight story, so you've been warned)
What do you guys think? Also feel free to suggest anything else you all would be interested in reading.
Also, for this next month if you have any friends on GRS that would maybe be interested in reading along with us feel free to add them to the group!
