@Emily: thank you :D
@Lea: waw, you've read a lot of my list. A Little Life is indeed a struggle. I've started it a while ago, but put it aside.

So, the 12 + 4 challenge is a challenge wher you pick 12 books that you want to read and 4 alternatives. If one of the 12 isn't your 'thing', you can replace it with one of your alternatives. Maybe you can just make another thread with '12 + 4 challenge' as a title. I've got one too.

@Denise: I've started it, but I think I'm going to read GoT - series first to understand the book better. I've stopped reading LoTR in the midst of the second book. The talking trees were a bit to much, but I'm planning on rereading it.
@Bill: I've read the first 2 books of Cronin, but there's a huge gap between the 2nd and the 3rd. Maybe I'll reread to remember some stuff, but it was good. The tv - series were not.
@Desley: what were your thoughts on it?

I'm a huge bookworm (who else is not?) and I have a weak spot for fantasy, horror, thriller and animal - related books (cats and horses).
A day without a book is a day you haven't fully lived.

So, let's go crazy in 2022 and tackle 20 tomes at least from fiction to non - fiction and everything between.
