Ooh....There's 3 back to back emotional as fuck parts in this book. No matter how many times I've read this series, those 3 scenes still make me cry.

Sigh...We all know that this my favorite of the series....
That's the beauty of this POV you see how truly incredible he is. I sincerely hope we get another POV. Granted the next one will probably KILL ME!

I don't think their relationship will ever be what it once was, but that's not a bad thing. I think it'll be stronger now. We saw a glimpse of it in Playing with Fire.
How Downside came into my life...Ok, I'll start this off....
I first heard about Downside from a former friend of mine around the end of 2010. I was just coming out of an 8 month book slump and nothing was getting or keeping my attention. But my friend was super instant. So I finally gave in, but I couldn't get into it. But something about it hit a nerve with me. So I decided to come back to it later.
I picked it up again about a month later & I was hooked immediately. I've never looked back.
It wasn't until after I finished Unholy Ghosts that I figured out why it had affected me so much. It was because I KNEW Chess would get underneath my skin, and she did.
How about you guys?
No, I used to try looking for similar books...But nothing is like Downside....

The narrator for this series is great. Bahni Turpin does an amazing job. Your fully able to get lost in the world that Stacia has created.
Definitely......It parallels modern society, how it's so easy to be come addicted to prescription drugs.
What I also liked was that we got deeper understanding of how long Cepts have actually been in her life....
