Yes that 'good without training' is so unrealistic and forced. Just to give the character a quality. And they call it 'natural talent'.

My favorite character is Jo March. She is an aspiring author and has big dreams. She is strong, fierce but also humorous. I love that about her.

My thoughts on the romances...I think they were not that great. Jo and that professor were okay, but still there was not much. I didn't like Amy and Laurie together too. Laurie should have been with Jo or Beth. Meg and Brooke are kind of a forced romance in my opinion.

The relationship between the sisters was very sweet. The best one was between Beth and Jo. Beth looked up to Jo and Jo deeply loved her. Their relationship is probably the best one the book.

This is a bookish version of the usual burning house game.
A house a burning. There are three characters inside the house. You have to say which character you would save first, which would you save later ( injured) and whom would you leave.
You should then give 3 characters for the next person.
