I wish some of that French rain would make it this far south. Dream on, too many mountain ranges in between.
Morning all, gonna be a hot one, at 9.30 I was wishing I'd gone out with my hat. The summer, she is here. This city has no sense of proportion. Monday I shivered at that time and wished for a jacket. Thursday I'm sweating just walking to the corner.
British does not mean "English." All citizens of England, Scotland and Wales are indeed British, but only people born in England are English.

The Welsh mostly feel the same way. When I was in Pontyclun, there was more than one person who spoke of "going to Britain" when they meant England...LOL
Is "dour" pronounced "do-er" or "dower"? It's one of those words I've only ever seen written down, never heard it said.
Well, the doctors seem to say that it responds well to chemo, but his wife talks a mile a minute and tells her ideas for facts...so basically we're on our own. I hope so anyway, that he'll make it I mean.
Just found out my pastor has lymphoma. They say it responds well to chemo but he won't be able to start for another 2-3 weeks while they set things up. We must pray.
