Oh! I have a question! This is probably going to sound stupid but do you have advent calenders? Like where you open up a new door each day and get chocolate or money or whatever.
Totally thought I saw one a couple of weeks ago. It was during the horrible cross country imposed by our vindictive PE department, and we passed these fields and I didn't have my glasses on so everything was a bit blurry and in the fields there were these horses- only... were they horses? I stopped and frowned, puzzled. One of the horses (a pale dappled grey hit by the morning rays) was drinking from the river and... was that a horn I could see from its head? Could it be? Was it so? Was this... Was this a UNICORN!! I think I must of gasped because one of my fellow classmates stopped and said, "What?" And it being beyond me to utter a single word I merely pointed at the horse, aghast. "So what?" They said, "It's a horse.""Look again." I replied, mysteriously. They squinted and scrunched up their face in confuzzlement.
"I... I just see a horse!" They cried, desperately.
"Oh you noodle nugget numb-skull!" I cried. Now this was uncalled for but you cannot blame me for just beyond me was a living breathing unicorn. "It's a unicorn, can't you see! Look! There! There is its horn!" My companion frowned again as I pointed enthusiastically, buzzing in my excitement.
Turns out it was just a pale silver birch stick coming out of the water at the right point. In my blurry, non-corrected vision it looked like a horn. T'was very sad.
Things that I like in a book are those wonderfully odd phrases and sentences or paragraphs that make you just want to sigh in slow delight and read them over and over with a big wistful smile on your face. I love those books which are so different and brilliant and away from normal books that they seem to float around like wisps of mist and things with wings. I like the books that are a little fairy-tale-ish. So... yeah.
No... don't even know what that is. Though once these boys set off a stink bomb on the bus and then promptly got off. It was disgusting :-/NHIE dressed up as a piece of food?
Never, but my and my friend are going when we're eighteen to find our spirit animals :-DNHIE laughed so hard that I've cried (lies)
Nope, I don't think so. I think the chocolate wouldn't go so good though. I just imagine this bar of cadbury's stuck like a stake through the middle of the pancakes. I've had pancakes syrup, ice cream and sprinkles before, though. NEVER have I ever won an oscar (yet)
They do, they do. I would tell you exactly how this one feels but unfortunately that would be breaking the rules of this thread.
Ah! Yay, I have met a fellow inanimate object whisperer... OH MY GOD, Gerald would you stop giving me that look? Sorry about that, my phone was giving me attitude.
Everyone's shouting their names. I feel so left out...SORRELIAN DRAGOCTAGON
Ah, now I feel better :D
What if she steals all of the dictionaries in the entire world and says that only she is allowed to use them? What if she STEALS all the words! We would be without speech and words and... we would be without books :-S
Oh no! All these times Wayan referred to us as her minions she was being serious *face palm* She probably has a plan to take over the earth! Wayan! Please don't try and destroy the world, what would happen to the platypuses! What would happen Wayan! WHERE WOULD THEY GO?!?!
