"What are you talking about?" Dakota asked. "The night is young, and you finally put... it away!" he exclaimed. "Baby please don't go!" he sang out teasingly.
Dakota put two fingers on her throat. "I'm pretty sure I feel a pulse. The last time I checked, dead girls didn't have a pulse." he said. He looked up and saw a girl walk in. He knew that it was Not. It was the mermaid girl. Dakota looked back at Lillibet. She was his first concern at the moment.
((XD, CJ.))Dakota jerked his head back. "Whoa there, Sweetheart. I barely know mermaid girl. I'm not head over heels for her or anyone. That's a dangerous place to be here in the place where romance turns deadly. Right now it's all fun and games.... Nothing can mean anything. We can't let them get to us." he said.
Dakota laughed, "Darling, I know you're hitting on me, but you don't actually have to hit." he joked. He took a step out of the danger zone.
((Lol, normally, I pat the person's back awkwardly and laugh it off. ))"Nice to see you too, Lilli!" Dakota exclaimed and let her go. "What are you doing?" he asked nervously, looking at the books.
Dakota just strutted up to her and gave her a hug. Because how else does one greet people? He noticed the book in her hand and shuddered.
Dakota shuddered as he watched the offending book hit the wall. He looked out to the masses, and he saw Lillibet. He walked over towards her, relief evident on his face.
Devon stormed angrily towards the couch where he saw 'the girl.' He sat down beside her. "Hi, Sunshine."
((No idea... Hmm... Let's just say 6'3. ;) ))Dakota looked at her like she had just punched him. "You can't just leave like that." he said, standing up, his head spinning wildly - and not just because of the sugar. He took a cautious step towards her, "Darling, we are on the same side whether you like it or not. Preferably, you do." he said seriously. Which was really, really hard for him.
Nathaniel wrote: "(( Wait, so is it going to be a whole bunch of nerds fighting???))"((XD! I am a bit curious myself... *cough cough* CJ, now would be a good time for a hint. *cough cough*))
Devon eyed the books warily. What an interesting choice of weapons… Unless...Celeste pranced into the arena and saw the books. "Oh, it's lovely!" she exclaimed.
Dakota saw the punching guy and a girl talking to books. Interesting. He scanned the crowd for a certain girl or two. Where were Not and Lilibet? Dakota grabbed random book and opened it. He took one look, slammed the book closed with a loud gasp, and threw it across the room. No! Not this!
Celeste flung the doors open and gave a huge grin. This was it! The lavish capitol at its finest! It was a pity that she probably wasn't going to be able to enjoy it. She brushed away thoughts of the Games and bounded around the room curiously. There were vibrant colors everywhere and lot of red... Blake's favorite color.
Devon scanned his surroundings cooly before chucking a knife at the door angrily. Why? Why did everything have to be so complicated?
"I never did like Santa Claus." he said and tried to jump to his feet. He swayed backwards and fell against the wall. "Santa Claus better have something real good for me this year. Oh, that's right, I get a nice, painful death." he muttered and looked at her. He suddenly threw his arm over his eyes. "The light... It's blinding me!" he exclaimed and swatted at empty air with his free hand.
