Haha Bisky, I hope it's the one I'm thinking of.
Sure, it would be sad to kill such a villain but oh boy would it make me feel good to see him dead! :>

Hello Darren and Julie, welcome aboard!

Well of course you are! :)

Hello Clodagh and Tyra, welcome aboard!

Hello Denise and welcome aboard!

@Cassandra You are too kind. *blush*

Thanks Cassandra. I guess it makes sense. Not that I think my book will ever take off but who knows and if it never does, it wouldn't (couldn't) hurt the book if I end up giving 'original unedited' versions to people.
Anything is better than to throw things away or to the recycle bin...

Stupid question maybe. What do you do with printed books once they've been re-edited and are no longer the latest version.
Often they may have changed enough so it just seems wrong to give them away. So, authors, did that ever happen to you and what did you do with them?

I second that! Creepy! :)

Welcome aboard Ron, and congrats. :)

Hey Clodagh, welcome aboard!
You don't say much but enough to catch my attention. Define the genre is always problematic. I think most authors struggle with that. When are you publishing?
David wrote: "Interesting, this - tears, idle tears. I wonder if it's immersion in the scene or the dilemma of the protagonist or perhaps a trigger to a personal grief in one's own life that starts the flood. I ..."I believe both immersion and trigger. Maybe not always at the same time, but both can do the 'job', at least in my case.

I've cried like a baby reading a few stories out of a collections of short stories called 'It goes on' by D.R. Shoultz.
I was sitting outside on the deck (and glad no one was there to see me). I mean, they sure would have wondered what happened and I couldn't see myself explaining to them that I read a sad story. They'd probably have called me silly. :p

I haven't written a thing since publishing my sequel at the end of last month. I'm only working on my to read long list while I take a break. ;)

@Michael True they need to be explained but to some degrees. I've read a book lately that made me feel I was back in school reading physics and chemistry books in lieu of a science-fiction story. Sorry, but nope. If you need to explain fine, but do it in a fashion that it is still interesting at least. :/

You've got loads on your plate Dionne. Good luck with everything. :)

Hello BSL and welcome aboard :)

@Michael Congrats!
