Dante smiled. "Yeah? You want to do my palm?" He leaned in, and bit into the bloodred orange. He shoved his sticky palm out.
Alastair smiled. The girl got it.Or, at the least, she understood it.
He waved his hand again, bringing them to a peaceful scene. Children ran around, women chatted at market stands, fathers did manly things. He nodded. "Watch it." They watched as the scene ripped apart. Venandi ran through the village, killing those peaceful others with a vengeance.
Alastair waved his hand, and suddenly there were flames around them. People were screaming, dying, there was wailing of babies. He pointed towards the village's square. "Take a look."
Alastair smiled. "I want to show you what it truly means to be a Venandi. What it means to be a witch, a demon, and more." His shoulder sag. "I want you to see."
Marcus walked into the cafe. He felt, new, rejevenated. But, he also felt the stares of the witches surrounding him.

Alastair nodded. "Are you coming to kill me, then?" He retracted his hand, and crossed his arms. The shadows seem to pulse, ready for action. They wanted blood. Who's, he didn't know, exactly.

The demon smirked. "You have a certain appearance about you. An air of regality, except the regality is overflowing. It's arrogance." He smiled. "And you Venandi always, always, carry a weapon."
