Marcus smiled, and gave Sel a hug. "We should probably get out of here," He whispered. "Give them space."
Dante breathed once more into her more. All of his fire magic, gone. Leaving him with Chaos. He could deal with that. He looked at her. "Are you...okay?"
Dante did all of it. He pressed down on her chest, breathed half of his magic, leaving him feeling emptyless, checked her pulse. It would work. It had to.
Dante didn't turn around to ask why a Venandi was giving him tips. He just did it. He opened Cas' mouth, and gave her life. He breathed his magic into hers. If this worked....Cas would be plenty more powerful. She would have some of him. Literally.
Marcus stared at the scene unfolding before him. Maybe the witch would die. But, at the least, he could help. "Open her mouth." he called. "Use you breath."
Dante ran to her, sliding to his knees. He felt her pulse. Slow, but beating nonetheless. He laid his head on her chest. "I am so sorry, Cas. Please. Don't leave me."
Dante jolted awake. He looked around. "Where is she?" He gripped the red headed man. "WHERE IS SHE?"
Alastair sighed, his eyes flickered opened, glowing a deep gold, before settling closed again. His chest moved up and down. He was breathing, and he was okay.
Alastair looked at Cas, and giggled again. He turned to Ryan. "I'm going to fall unconscious in a bit, hop--" he passed out and fell flat to the ground.
Alastair looked at her, then gigled. Cas and Ryan appeared to be floating upside down. Or that was just the delusion kicking in, and the fact that he was looking at her with his head hung. "You are very welcome, witch. You own me." The world exploded with color around him. He was pretty sure he was going to pass out.
Alastair groaned and rolled over. "Fuck." He gasped out, then coughed. "I am never doing that shit again." He felt burned, as if he shocked with lightning. Dante, on the other hand, would be perfectly okay, except for trauma, ptsd, scars, and....okay, so maybe he wouldn't be exactly perfectly okay.
Alastair grabbed the rope, and they were tugged up. Dante stared at the rope. Alastair snapped his fingers. "Hurry up."1.
Dante grabbed the rope. They started to go up, though not at the speed as usual.
45 seconds.
"Come on, come on." Alastair whispered to himself. Dante furrowed his brows. "What is wrong?" Alastair looked at him. "Nothing."
Nothing at all.
25 seconds.
Alastair slowly started to see the entrance to the real world. He stared at it, not willing to think that--
9.
"Come on, come on." They were close. Truly, utterly close.
3.
2.
1--
They made it.
Alastair grabbed the soul. "We need to go." He tugged the rope. Then, tugged it again.Something was wrong.
3.
He followed the rope, running now, towards he came. The world started to get darker again.
2.
"Come on." He cried to Dante. "we are almost there."
(( and like, everyone was arguing, now they're mad at porg, and EVERYTHIN IS SHIT))Alastair looked at the spirit. Not Dante. "Fuck." He sighed. "Fuck."
7 minutes.
He looked around, then realized he had no choice. He called out. "Dante! DANTE!" All the spirits turned towards him, and started, slowly, making their way to him.
6 minutes.
A spirit stood out from the rest. A man, a lighter color than grey. The spirit looked at him. "That's me!" He cried. "I'm Dante!"
4 minutes.
((ansel my nookie was deleted everything is hell confort me bf i cri))Alastair searched every spirit, every--
There.
He walked over, quickly, to a spirit that was lonely. You could get stuck in limbo, being there for more than a hour. It was already 50 minutes in, meaning he had 10 minutes.
9 minutes now, actually.
He grabbed the spirit. "Dante. We need to go, now."
Alastair nodded and continue his dark descent into the world. Slowly, the further he went, the world began to lighten. Grey, then white. He was in the center of limbo. He looked around. Spirits, all around him, hung there.
Alastair gasped as his shadows took control. They disappeared. He looked around, at the darkness surrounding him, and chuckled. "Limbo." He looked at the woman. "Your...husband. He's in limbo. This means there is still a chance. We just need to find him, of course." He set off into the dark.
