1111745 I had a lot more books on my list but after checking different retailers I thought these would be the best option because I cant justify spending 12€ on an Ebook :D

The Maidens
Babel, or The Necessity of Violence:An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution
Frankenstein: The 1818 Text
Bunny
Catherine House
The Starless Sea

Voting will be up tomorrow!

1111745 I finished Book Lovers in one day and I really enjoyed my reading time.
I found the characters and their story really interesting. I was a little bit annoyed by the Drama at the end because I knew the solution right away but that's life :D

Overall I gave 4,5 stars and I would definitely read it again.

1111745 Here are all the books you named and my suggestions. Thank you so much for your input! I will now see if the books fit our category and so on. If a book is not chosen for the next round I will post a short explanation of why in this comment.

I decided to leave books when they are available within a timeframe of 3 weeks. The books where this is the case on Thalia I marked with a little *

Made it into the next round:

The Bookworm Crush *
The Fastest Way to Fall *
How to Love Your Neighbor *
Good Girl Complex
Delilah Green Doesn't Care
I Kissed Shara Wheeler
note: this epub ebook (for user with a tolino) is quite expensive to maybe keep that in mind)
Book Lovers
The Soulmate Equation
Battle Royal *
Twice Shy *
Love from Scratch
note: this epub ebook (for user with a tolino) is quite expensive to maybe keep that in mind if you prefer ebooks for your Tolino)
What If It's Us
Some Girls Do
note: this epub ebook (for user with a tolino) is quite expensive to maybe keep that in mind if you prefer ebooks for your Tolino)
The Falling in Love Montage
Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating
Boyfriend Material
The Spanish Love Deception
The Kiss Quotient
A Pho Love Story

Disqualified books because of specific reasons:

First of all, I would like to state my opinion of Colleen Hoover and why I decided to disqualify her books. This is only my opinion and you can still like her if you want but I don't feel comfortable reading her books in this book club. I think that her books are kinda glorifying abusive and toxic relationships and also I don't like it that she actively decides to not include trigger warnings in her books, even tho multiple people begged for them. There are some other points why I choose to disqualify her books but these are the main reasons and I hope you can understand that.

Ugly Love
disqualified: see above

Under One Roof
disqualified: sadly too short and currently only available as an Ebook and Audiobook

It Ends with Us
disqualified: see above

Afterlove
disqualified: supernatural stuff (but still a great suggestion. Maybe this will fit another theme)

History Is All You Left Me
disqualified: I have the feeling that this is more a novel about grief than romance.

One Last Stop
disqualified: supernatural stuff like time loops

Eleanor & Park
disqualified: huge debate about the fetishization of East Asian and the Racism in the book (just google the title and problematic and you will find some articles)

November 9
disqualified: see above

Layla
disqualified: see above

All Boys Aren't Blue
disqualified: this is more a memoir than a romance book but still thank you for the rec.

Date Me, Bryson Keller
disqualified: plagiarism

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
disqualified: I think its more a coming off age story than a romance

Disqualified because they are currently not available through Thalia and Amazon, or there isn't the option for an ebook (both in mobi and epub) and a print copy

The Princess Trap
disqualified because: not available as an epub Ebook

Loveless
disqualified: currently not available as a print version through retailers because of the high demand

From Lukov with Love
disqualified: not available on Thalia and as an epub
