I decided to use the topic we pick for December 2021.
So this month's theme is:
Romance / New Adult
Please consider suggesting only books without a Fantasy part (like Evelyn Hugo or Love Hypothesis). Also, it's not important if the main love story is queer or straight. Just suggest books in the Romance Genre that you want to read this summer.
You can write your books on this topic until the 10th of May.

Here is a little overview:
Because we didn't hold a bookclub meeting in December 2021 but already picked a theme, I decided to use that theme for this round.
11th-12th of May:
Voting Round 1 through a Google Survey
13th-14th of May:
Voting Round 2 if necessary
15th of May:
The winner will be announced
Junel:
Read the book in the tempo that you want to.
The discussion topic is only to be used after you finish the book because there probably will be spoilers in it. If you can, please write in English. This book club is still for training ;)
If you have any questions you can always message the moderator or shoot them a DM on Instagram (@bloggerinthejogger).

All of Us Villains
Gearbreakers
The Jasmine Throne
Jade City
The Final Empire
The Inheritance Games
The Unbroken
The City of Brass
These are all the books I've picked out. Sadly my original idea was Enemies to Lovers or 2022 releases but Thalia is a real pain in the ass with English books so a lot of them had reaallllyyyy long delivery times and I don't trust Thalia.
I will send the Google Survey Link tomorrow so that you have enough time to check out the books :D

I forgot to open the topic to I picked some books out for us. There is no specific theme besides the fact that I picked them :D
So this month theme is:
Wishlist Pick

Here is a little overview:
I forgot to open this topic so I decided to pick some books out instead. You can check them out under the "Voting" Topic in this folder.

1.
It has to be possible to buy the mobi and the epub version of the book.
2.
There has to be a print version under 16€ (if this book is reeeeaaallly new maybe I will put it on the list and you can decide for yourself)
3.
There has to be a print and also an ebook version available on Amazon and Thalia. I choose these two retailers because you told me in one of my surveys that these are the ones you buy the most from.
4.
There are other reasons why I will not pick a book for the next round (for example: doesn't fit the theme, reeeaallly bad ratings, problematic author, long delivery time)
I am really sorry if your book does not make it into the next round.

Sweet and Bitter Magic
The Never Tilting World"
Thank you for recommending "The never tilting world". I put it on our list.

The Winter Duke
The Unspoken Name
Queen of Coin and Whispers
The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea"
I put the two that were not already on the list on it. Thank you for your bookideas.

The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea"
Thank you for your recs. I put Dark and Deepest Red on our list!

Thank you for your input. I put in on our list!

Once upon a broken heart
All the stars and teeth
To kill a kingdom
The queens rising
Fireheart tiger
The jasmine throne
She who became the sun"
Hey there,
I put the last two books on the list. Fire heart Tiger is a little bit short with only 103 pages and the rest is not really sapphic so sadly I will not put them on our list but maybe they will fit a future theme :D

I will look more into them on the 10th and see if they are currently available and how the overall reviews are.

You can propose book ideas for our monthly theme until the 10th of January 2022.
Please look at the ideas that are already posted, so that we don't have duplicates (it makes the work a little bit easier ;))
This month theme is:
Sapphic Fantasy
Please make sure, that the WLW relationships play a little bit more into the story than just as side characters.
I am excited about your book proposals.
