I've totally been out of things for a while and working on top secret projects.

What are some of the best New Weird that you've discovered over the last year?

What is everyone reading these days?

Wow, we have a lot of new members recently. Welcome all.

With all the new members I thought I would make a place to introduce yourself. So, if you haven't already and feel like it, please let us know who you are and your favorite books.

Hall of Mirrors by Mike Bennett is also a lot of fun. The stories aren't always the most original, but he scores points for execution and showmanship.

Podiobooks is good, but it's often a chore to find something worthwhile since there doesn't seem to be any quality control.

I know it's really popular, but it just didn't do it for me. It was a great premise, but I never felt like much was at stake. Maybe I've been reading too many epics lately. Now, as for the other really popular book I'm reading "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", I'm enjoying that one immensely. I'm only about 140 pages in, but it has my interest, so I would suggest that one over Flash Forward.

I'm going to give it a chance despite it's popularity.

I really liked "Let the Right one In" by John Ajvide Lindqvist, a Swedish Novelist.

Steig Larson, also Swedish, so you can see my logic that I'll also like his book. :)

Also, this Steig guy seems interesting.

So many new books to read. You guys are costing me a fortune.

Umm, just me pretending to be HP Lovecraft. I'm not shy. You can read some for yourself and decide if I'm doppleganger-worthy.

I certainly don't need any more.

How about a spell that will create a doppleganger to send to my boring job while I do some writing?

Do you have a low self-esteem spell? I'm very interested in magick, especially anything dangerous that might destroy the universe.
