108289 Here's the google map of Guernsey

108289 I've just started reading this and my impressions of it already are completely different from when it started. I love that it's written in letter format. It makes the reader feel transported back to the time period. I had heard that the book was about World War II and thought immediately...concentration camps. This is not the story they are telling. Its about the channel islands between england and France. This is a location I hadn't heard of before. The letters feel true to the time period and give you a complete picture of the landscape. I've learned a lot and there's still more to read. I feel that the joyousness at the beginning of the story is slowly moving into a more serious one. If you have any feedback from this book I'd love to heard.

108289 This was an amazing book. I watch Downton Abbey and fell in love with the time period. It's interesting to see the treatment of classes. How the upstairs and downstairs lived. I love Morton's characters and will probably read more of her books. Have any of you read this book?

108289 I've always been interested in hot topic books but we could chose a book that is a beach read or a teen book as well.

108289 My favorite book was "Me Before You". I loved the characters, I felt after I finished the book that they were my friends. Even though it was a tough subject, it was done right. I laughed, I cried, I wanted others to read it too!
