Have you read This Man (This Man, #1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas ? Like her number one top rated series. That gave Fifty Shades of Grey a true run for the money?

I love LJ Shen don't get me wrong, but it would have to be the other way around. Jodi is way more polished and has a unique style of her own. However, there were parts that I kinda felt (view spoiler) There is quite a bit of chatter on LJ's business practices as of late. I would never put her in the same class as Jodi. Two completely different people. Ethics, and writing styles.

107336 yes it would have been better if not all the walls were intact. I think of Thornchapel as being a small half wall and perhaps parts of an alter.

uh, Brad was sorta a henchman. I don't know if we really want his story or something more from Jodi. It's been awhile since she wrote something yummy. In my opinion.

@Hazel,

that is so cool. A brilliant idea actually (hint hint) Books change as popularity and other things influence writers. That's a great reading challenge prompt.

Mafia Bride was published by Laurelin Paige. Which is brilliant if you ask me. I love when authors especially Indie up their game and expand revenue streams.
