Thanks for the book signing lesson. She's just like a music artist. She was paid upfront for producing books and she has to do it. Plus since it's a global publishing house, they will crank out enough copies to make sure they get their money back, whether we want to read it or not.

This story has been a labour of love, and one that I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting. For me, just as for Anastasia Steele, Christian is a challenging, infuriating and endlessly fascinating character, and like her, I adore him. Living in his head is engrossing, and he’s kept me sane (believe it or not!) during the months of lockdown that we’ve endured in the UK. It’s been a treat for me to explore in Freed aspects of his life that we only glimpsed in the original trilogy: his relationship with his parents, his brother, and his long-suffering shrink. But most of all I’ve enjoyed following his emotional growth in response to Ana’s love and compassion.

I cannot wait for you to read it.

I have a gnarled gash about 4 inches long on my calf. I am going for a shot and antibiotics tomorrow.
