Kea yawned and sat down at the base of a huge tree, patting the spot next to her for Zara.

Kea looked away quickly. “What’s that supposed to mean, Z?”

Kea shook her head, suppressing a smile. “My power makes my body hotter, gives me fevers sometimes, and makes me blush more. Which i think is the worst one,” she laughed.

(it’s okay!)
Kea groaned. “It’s not on purpose, it’s because of my stupid power.”

Kea rolled her eyes, turning away from Zara as her face heated up again.

Kea frowned and stood back up, looking away. “They’re not my followers,” she said.

“Nothing. Why? Does it seem like I am?” Kea said quickly. She hated to seem anything other can calm around others; they’re her leader, is she’s nervous then so are they.

Kea leaned away, a grin on her face. “Some squirrels are clumsy, squirrel.”

Kea rushed to Zara’s side. “You okay?” She asked worriedly.

Hey guys I’m going to go through some of the areas and trim down on things, mostly things not related to the r, so don’t get worried if you see some things gone!

Kea grinned, her hands on her hips as she looked up at Zara.

“It’s only fair,” she continued. “You call me firefly, which, i’ll admit, isn’t very original,” Kea joked. “so i get to call you Squirrel!”

Kea smiled. “It’s a nickname then! So you wouldn’t mind me calling you something else, huh.” She thought for a bit. “How about Squirrel? you were in the trees when i met you,” she laughed.

Kea laugher, a bit more than before. “Is your name really Z?

“Not to be rude, but I don’t trust you enough to help us,” Kea said.

Kea snorted, thinking Zara was joking. “I’m fine.”

Kea crossed her arms, wincing slightly as her hand touched her arms but it hurt less because of the paste.

Kea eyebrows furrowed and she frowned. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Kea looked around nervously, in case anyone else was there. She wasn’t used to being outside, let alone being outside with a person she’d never met.

Kea chuckled without meaning to. “I-It’s fine. Stuff happens.”
