1056220 I'm going to read People We Meet on Vacation. Last month I read her other book, Book Lovers. It was just okay for me. But I've heard that her other books are better so we'll see.

I started Swan Song which won a Bram Stoker Award in 1987. I'm listening to it on audio and haven't finished it yet. It's just long and I haven't been in the mood recently. I still hope to finish it though.

1056220 I read Under the Whispering Door, TJ Klune. I like it but I didn't love it nearly as much as The House in the Cerulean Sea.

1056220 The Cat Who Saved Books

I loved this fantasy novella about a cat and a young boy who enter alternate worlds to save books!

1056220 The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water

I chose the word "sea" and used the synonym "water" for my keyword this month.

This is a novella about some bandits and a nun who must join forces to protect an ancient spiritual relict. I really enjoyed it.

UPDATE: I enjoyed this one. It's a short read and I thought it was a decent story- nothing too amazing imo.

1056220 I read The Cat Who Saved Books . It's about a young man whose grandfather dies and leaves him the bookstore that he owned. Consumed by grief he decides to close the store. But then a cat suddenly appears in the middle of the store. A talking cat. And he tells the boy that he needs his help to save books. They embark on a soul searching journey through other 'worlds' and the impact that it has on the boy is life changing. The book is only about 200 pgs long. A quick but powerful read. Highly recommend.
