Hi everyone. Since I've gotten a couple of requests for 2026 Motifs, I thought I'd put up a separate thread to discuss. Add your suggestions below. The Motif (theme) for October is ... “The Dark Side”Read a book with a 'dark' story OR read a book with a mostly black cover. "Dark" is up to interpretation. This could be dark academia, horror, difficult subject matters, creepy settings, books that take place at night, etc.

This month I read What Have You Done? by Shari Lapena.
Lapena is always a solid mystery read for me and this one was no different. I read through it pretty fast and gave it 4stars.
It's January 24th and I'm finally getting to my challenge read. I am reading
No One Can Know and really enjoying it so far! I think I'll get through it quickly.
