105559 The Fault in Our Stars. It is a very good book, just not as good as everyone makes it seem.

105559 It sounds like he still really likes you. But just to be sure, you could have someone ask him if he still likes you.

105559 Well, you shouldn't do anything about it unless you are absolutely positive he likes you. Things could get super awkward if you ask him if he has feelings for you and he doesn't. Besides, if you don't like him back, there really isn't much you can do. If he at some point confesses that he has feelings for you, you should tell him nicely that you only see him as a friend.

105559 The first book kept my attention and I read it really quickly but the second book is a struggle.

105559 It's awesome that you want to ask him to the dance yourself! I know most girls would sit around and wait for the guy to ask them. If you feel confident putting yourself on the line like that, then I suggest you go for it. Even if he says no, don't get upset: there are other guys out there. If you are scared that he will say no, maybe you could try to see if there are any signs that he might like you back. Or if you want to play it really safe, you could ask him to go with you just as friends. I know this may not be what you want but going to the dance with him as friends is probably better than not going to the dance with him at all. A lot of people just go as friends to dances, and then later become more than friends. Just do whatever you feel comfortable doing!

105559 You just have to stop caring about what other people think. Most people aren't important anyway, so why should you care what they think? Who is criticizing your hair? :-$

105559 What do you mean by "not settling down"? Do you just mean you don't want to get married?

105559 Books are very misleading. Nobody is as perfect as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Jace Wayland, etc. You just have to find the guy that's perfect for you, even though he may not live up to all of your "perfect guy standards" that are based on fictional characters.

105559 I am 5'4" with bushy brown hair (like Hermione Granger). I have blue eyes, really pale skin, and lots of freckles on my nose. I used to have really crooked teeth (once again, like Hermione Granger) but then I got braces so now my teeth are nice and straight.
