Yeah we started the book on the first but were only on chapter 7 the book goes fast so if you want to catch up I won't post any spoilers.

I haven't read it but I love Victoria Christopher Murray! I'll post it as Sept book next week so people can have time to get it if they want to participate next month :)

It's early August and I just wanted to see if we can get a head start on Sept any book recommendations?

Sherese is just damaged she has been hurt so much and she doesn't believe God an fix her situation but we know He can. I am glad she is getting back on the right path and I think living with Syd will do her some good. I wonder if Jack is going to pop back up?

With Chanel I can see that she has a relationship with God but she not listening to conviction. She is treading on dangerous ground entertaining this single man while she is married.I can already tell something bad is going to happen.

Well I can say that I feel bad for Sydney not just that her husband died but the fact that she really is not opening up to someone to talk about it. I mean even though Chanel is not good at know what to say in the situation she is a good listener and sometimes when bad things happen it really helps to put it out in the air.....sometimes it releases some of the weight that you carry

What are you thoughts on Sydney, Chanel and Sherese?

This is the last review for this book. I just wrote a small review just saying the that book was okay but if they have it edited it would be pretty good. Sharon finds love and I am really happy for her but they really need to get Derrick some help something is not right with that man.

Welcome Monica!!! I was just thinking about the August book. I am going to make a new post for it but the book is Taste of Good Fruit by Marita Teague. We also have a post of a book challenge for the year.

Also we can just finish this book up on friday since it's the end of the month

I just wanted to give a heads up we won't be reading part two of this book we will move on to something different. Are there any authors you would like us to read their books as a group?

It's already Friday time is flying by!!! I read the chapters I hope you guys did too. I can say the book is getting better but it has points where it is confusing and this Ms Edna is a trip. The way they are trying to manipulate Sharon is crazy. I do have to say that I thought it was pretty predictable that Shelia was dating Derrick too I could tell that when she was first brought into the story. What do you guys think?

So now we have started the book what do you guys think? I can first say there are a lot of errors. Words missing or letter. Do you agree? It seems like slow coming book but I am hoping the next couple chapters will pick up.

Sharon seems like a lot of women today and her family seems similar to most families. Ms Edna sounds like some church mothers I know and I'm sorry but Derrick seems like a lame lol
