It was later named after his first student, Jean Grey, after it was destroyed in the wake of M-Day by Sentinels. The school is currently a safe haven from anti-Mutant hate crime organizations, such as the Purifiers, as well as the M-Pox induced by the Terragen Mists. As of late, there have been attacks by a rival school for delinquent mutants, villains-in-training, Hellfire Academy.

[close] Marie Lu the author of the Legend series, is making a new YA book series coming out in October 2014. Here is what the book is about.. Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was.
