[close] Dear Diary, It has been exactly sixty seven days since daddy took me and Emily to the camp. I remember the outbreak of the infestation so clearly; better than I even remember mommy. I hate the outdoors, and all of this camping; daddy says its the only way for us to survive... but the biters still seem to find us all the time. There is not where safe. Emily doesn't talk anymore, she just cries; she is weak. But I am strong. I will survive with daddy... we will find others. I hope there are others... I need help... Daddy needs help... He says we will find a sanctuary and others... He promises... I try to believe in him, and be strong; for Emily. But the biters are scary... they are always sneaking up on us, and daddy is growing tired; I can tell. He is weak, and we are running out of time.
