[close] This is a book club with an exploration twist. We are aiming for monthly excursions within the 5 Boroughs to explore cites that are woven into some of our favorite books which have NewYork City as its backdrop. For example, exploring Central Park for Manhattan Schist and riding the Roosevelt Island Tram while discussing James Ponti's "Dead City" or looking for The Red Pyramid's "Brooklyn House" Once the weather is warm, I hope to hold a book club picnic in Central Park by a large piece of Manhattan Schist to discuss "Dead City" and maybe ride the tram to Roosevelt Island, look for MIST and have dessert.

[close] This book club is meant for ages 10-15. Every week, come prepared with a book to discuss (and a snack!). Connect with friends and get some new reading recommendations.
