Strange

[close] This is a group dedicated to outsider books. Outsider art in general is a category of art which stands outside of cultural norms. The people who make outsider art usually live isolated from society and creates works which are almost entirely the result of their own quirks. Outsider works are inherently fascinating because each is, in its own way, unique.

[close] A group that discusses avantgarde, experimental, surreal, bizarre, weird strange and absurd novels and non-fiction books.

[close] Sometimes you just want to read something different, and sometimes you have a book too strange to recommend to your friends.

[close] Reading is an addiction. Help me find & ruminate on the most unusually great books on the planet. Books that have discombobulated then haunted you. Particularly unknown gems by unknown authors.
