[close] نادي مهتم في الكتب النسوية ”دراسات - روايات“ يتم التعرف من خلاله على ماهية الحركة النسوية في العالم، أين بدأت؟ كيف تشكلت؟ ماهي أشكالها ؟ كيف اتصلت إلينا؟ وما دورنا تجاهها؟ يتناول النادي عدد من موضوعات مختلفة من بينها التطور التاريخي للمفاهيم والحركات النسوية وأفكارها وأجيالها، وعدد من الإشكاليات المختلفة مثل : التمييز، التنميط، العنف ضد النساء. تُدار اللقائات الشهرية للنادي بأسلوب تفاعلي تشاركي يعزز الحوار البناء ومناقشة الأفكار سواء في حيز الاجتماع او عبر الانترنت للأعضاء خارج دولة الكويت. نحن مجموعة من النسوة نسعى للإسهام في تكوين حركة نسوية عربية تؤمن بأن القضايا النسوية والنوع الاجتماعي هي قضايا مجتمعية وسياسية تؤثر في تطور المجتمعات وتحررها من القيود الاجتماعية والأيدولوجية من خلال القرءة والحوار.

[close] From timeless classics to the thought provoking. This is a book club for all, and one in which we can explore various themes such as equality, conservation, and human rights. This can include fictitious stories revolving around a central theme of humanitarianism or non-fiction stories/accounts. As an advocate for human rights I wish to share what I have learned as well as get hear your thoughts. What better way to do that than through a book club! I plan to select and read a book monthly or bi-monthly (I realise some people, myself included, have busy schedules) and then have a discussion during the last week of the month before starting the next book. I will try and get a thread started with some questions/quotes to get us started and hopefully spark some discussion. If you so wish, feel free to join up and participate in the discussion.
