[close] "It's 1941. Hitler is gaining power overseas and the whole world is being turned upside down. My home has been bombed and my friends and family are dying. In the middle of all this our men are dying trying to free the world from evil. So why does everything with you feel so right? It should feel wrong." The locals of a small street in London have decided to set up a charity dedicated to helping those fighting for their lives on the front lines. Part of this service is a letter exchange programme for those who have no family. The idea was to boost soldiers morale. It wasn't too fall in love but when your pouring your whole heart out-It's difficult not to fall in love. Many shotgun weddings have occurred due to people being scared about the future but this programme seems to be promoting true love or at least a version of marriages that aren't going to fall about as soon as war's over.

[close] Two princes, brothers, used to be the best of friends, thick as thieves. But now they are split apart. They are enemies and are at war with one another. The younger brother, the Prince of Darkness, wishes to claim the land of Utopia for himself. His elder brother, the Prince of Light, must fight to protect his home and his subjects. Who will rise victorious from the ashes and blood of battle? Who will fall?

[close] This group is about reading books on military history. Personally, I'm only really interested up through the 19th century, but later stuff is of course welcome.

[close] The fence. It is the only thing standing between the modern, organized, peaceful City and the untamed Wasteland beyond. It is the only thing keeping the citizens, the humans, safe from them. They are creatures of the night, the supernatural Citizens can only dream exist. And sometimes they get in. That's where the Corps comes in. Specially selected Citizens are trained in the art of killing with one goal in mind: keep Them out and the City safe. A certain commander has other ideas, though. Why should the Corps wait for Them to come in? Why shouldn't the Corps send men to the Wastelands and eradicate the creatures before they get the chance to invade?
