She hadn’t seen the guy she had a crush on in high school for many years, but she never dreamed she’d end up struggling to survive a plane crash with him by her side!

I usually very careful with my choice of long dragging romance. Especially with small town romance. Securing Zoey is a small town romance with a mix of suspense. The hero,Mark is a SEAL. Now i usually love a men in uniform.

I am surprise to find that the story is slow but enough to keep me interested. I think because the author successfully builidng the suspense bit by bit into the romance. The chemistry between Mark and Zoey is too straight forward. There is no banter or power play with it.

Zoey, I've never wanted anything more in my life!

Bubba and Zoey have not seen each other for 10 who can possibly hate them both enough to try and kill them?
Even whilst looking after Zoey, walking them towards safety, building them overnight shelter, hunting to feed them and trying to stay positive Bubba is more than aware that it has to be someone within their circle that wants them dead. This niggle burrows it's way deep making him furious, protective and more determined than ever to

Zoey and Mark "Bubba" have a history. Let me say this. This book has twists and turns. It's amazing to see how Susan Stoker gave us this second chance. This book is incredible. So much content. So much mystery. I was continually trying to figure out Zoey's life and loving Bubba. Fyi, I hate that nick. This was a book I was waiting for and it was well worth the wait.

Bubba (aka Mark) & Zoey's story is full of adventure, mystery, friendship, a daring rescue, an emotional reveal, and one of my favorite HEA's! These characters & their story made my heart super happy! I loved the way they get along & how communication plays a big part in their story. Loved seeing our friends from previous books, including some Tex time. ; ) And the role Phantom plays made me even more excited for his story which will finish out the series. BUT FIRST we get some Rex ...more

You know when you can’t get a song out of your head? It’s stuck there on permanent loop. Over and over again. And you don’t even have a good reason for it. It’s just there spinning tracks. Why?

I read Securing Zoey and I couldn’t—for the life of me, myself and I—stop the song track from playing. It was crazy. Sometimes author’s allude to musical genres or even a specific song to help a story or set a scene. And it’s not really Susan Stoker’s thing—to sprinkle a Spotify list throughout her books.

ahh every time I read one of Susan Stoker's book I marvel at her talent, and she never fails to surprise me with how she spins the story and her characters.
Bubba (Mark) and Zoey. I must say that getting stuck in the wilds of Alaska only sounds good if you have someone like Bubba to keep you safe. And trust me this Alpha does and even keeps her toasty warm. (toes and armpits) at that scene I really spit my drink as I was reading it. Following those 2 through the wilderness that is Alaska, the

SECURING ZOEY by Susan Stoker. Well, this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love the alpha heroes and, in this one, Bubba (a/k/a Mark) is delicious! Yes, he is a big, bad SEAL who saves the day but he is sweet and kind and considerate too. Zoey is the perfect match for Bubba - she is hardworking, yet believes herself to be an average girl just going day by day. I liked how they balanced each other and felt they were perfect together. Ms. Stoker takes us on an adventure with these ...more

This is Zoey and Bubbas story.
This story has so many zigs and zags, that it WILL keep you on the edge of your seat! You will NOT be able to put it down until your finished. Then you will cry and moan because it is finished.
I’m this story not only is mark/Bubba a Navy Seal, but he also has a twin brother. They grew up in a small town in Alaska. That’s where he met Zoey, who as soon as she and her mom moved there, tried to get Mark to notice her by dating his brother.

Susan Stoker is one of those authors that could write the phone book and I'd read it. She is phenomenal!! I can't get enough of her writing it never disappoints! I absolutely loved bubba and Zoey! Zoey was so strong and snarky and i loved it! Mark was so sweet with Zoey I absolutely loved that the first interaction we see with them they are bickering. So dang fun.

Like any Susan stoker book there was a bit of mystery surrounding everything. I along with the team kept wondering who did it! I also

Securing Zoey by Susan Stoker was one great read, this has suspense, mystery, danger and plenty of chemistry. The characters are well written and I absolutely loved Zoey and Mark aka Bubba. I just loved this story, it hooked me from the very start. Bubba is on his way home to Alaska he knows he should have come home sooner, now all he has are regrets and guilt. You can be assured that the book you are reading will give you perfection. The book will be written correctly and it will be easy to read.

One of the reasons I try to get behind in reading Susan Stoker's books is that when I finish a book, I find I am now going to have to wait months (long, long months) before I get to dive back into her worlds and characters. Ever since, I stumbled onto the Mountain Mercenaries, which led to Ace Security, which led to the SEAL of Protection Series, which led to Delta Force Heroes. Get my drift? I love her worlds and characters; they are people you like and enjoy watching their lives bloom in front ...more

The Fourth in the Seal of Protection series, we get Bubba and Zoey's story!!!

After returning home from the death of his father Mark "Bubba" Wright, is greeted by a familiar face. Zoey Knight, his crush from high school and the woman that has been looking after his father for the last decade.

Ok, first off let me state that every time another book by Ms. Susan comes out, it's like Christmas all over again. I am a sucker for these books every time and the SOP series is truly one of my all time

I like Susan Stoker's books as her characters struggle with everyday life and unexpected challenges. Zoey was summoned back to Juneau as the man she had cared for and about has died and mentioned her in his wife. Mark (Bubba) is returning home for the reading of the will from his father. Zoey and Mark are dumped in an Alaskan wilderness where they struggled for days and nights in the rough terrain around isolated lakes. Mark is a Seal and prepared for challenging life experiences while Zoey is ...more

I mean it’s Susan Stoker!
Do I need to say more than that to convince anyone to read this?
I don’t think I need to.

Her books keep getting better and better and I’m damned. I’m hooked. I can’t help it every time I see a new book coming out, I just have to read it.
That’s how good this one is.
So good.
I kept reading wanting to find out what’ll happen next. I stayed up all night cause I’ll just not rest till I finish reading it.
Word after word.
And it didn’t disappoint.

I loved Bubba and Zoey as

Zoey and Bubba

Zoey has crushed on Mark Wright since 10th grade. They meet unexpectedly in the airport, each on their way to pay last respects to Mark's dad, who died suddenly while Zoey was visiting her mom. Bubba hasn't been home in 13 years, and he feels overwhelming sadness and guilt for not being there for his dad. On the plane, he falls asleep until the plane crash lands on an Alaskan lake. Bubba and Zoey get out of the plane, only to have it take off as soon as Bubba and Zoey are on dry

Securing Zoey by Susan Stoker is a 5 star read.
Mark “Bubba” Wright is heading home for the first time in 13 years for the memorial and will reading for his father who recently passed away, he hadn’t seen him since he left home and joined the navy, Bubba feels incredible guilt over not visiting.
Zoey Knight got a phone call while visiting her mother that her employer and friend Colin Wright had passed away so she’s on her way back to Juneau when she meets her high school crush Colin’s son Mark.

That was intense......... I loved the rocky start of Zoey and Bubba. His guilty conscience was the reason for his surliness and he’d have to deal with that... but the sheer chemistry between them was hot. The serious question is, how much can he actually take? Things really hit the fan and quickly! The betrayal he didn’t see coming and the world of hurt he’s gonna feel when he finds out the truth, are enough for anyone to spiral downward. But I love Marks strength and positive attitude. I loved ...more

Not as hair raising as others but definitely diverse and original

Loved it and very impressed at the diversification of storylines of this author with the amount of books from this author as I have read them all. Heroine is her own person and deals with life as it comes. Stranded with her hero she shows her independence as well as a venerability that is relatable. Excellent storyline and keeps you guessing until the end. I normally listen to s. Stoker’s books but I had to buy kindle as well

I truly enjoyed reading this book.
Bubba & Zoey, were on their way to
Juneau, for the reading of his father's will.
They were both surprised to see each other again.
After their float plane had engine trouble,
Bubba & Zoey never expected to be left stranded in the
middle of no where in Alaska.
It's an engaging, moving & suspenseful romance.
It will draw you in, from the very beginning,
& keep you reading till the end.
Another great story in the series.

Once again Susan Stoker leaves us begging for more. Securing Zoey could be read as a stand alone but you’ll have a much better understanding of several of the characters and their personalities if you read these books in order. We get to see a bit of characters from past stories and it’s wonderful to see how their own stories are continuing or foreshadowed as yet to come.

If you are familiar with Susan’s style of reading you will not be disappointed. There is action, suspense and as always a

Enjoyable Read

I enjoy Susan Stoker books immensely and this is no exception. The idea of two people with nothing but a pocketknife, a flint and a compass trying to hike out of an Alaskan forest is amazing. Mark is the typical seal solving problems and keeping them going but Zoey is the heart, the life, the reason you want to succeed.

Fight Like A Girl

I listened to the audio version of Securing Zoey. I enjoy how the author intertwines the characters throughout her books. Having read so many of her books, it’s so easy to get excited when a new character appears and you know that you will meet them again sometime in the future. I love the commitment that the Team has for each other. I was very happy to see Zoey doing an excellent job of taking matters into her own hands when needed. As always looking forward to the next two

I absolutely love this book and I think it is my favorite of this series. I loved the second chance romance. I just found this author last year and spent many hours listening to her backlog of books, now I up to the current books and am eagerly waiting for the next books to come out. I would absolutely recommend any of this author’s books who love romance along with our military.
